i've dropped over 10 lbs but i don't feel any different. when i look in the mirror i don't notice any difference. my boyfriend, who sees my naked body every day, hasn't commented on any difference.
and i'm wondering if it's always going to be like this. will i ever notice the weight loss? will it ever be enough?
i want bones, and sunken cheeks, and thighs that don't touch even if you try to force them together.
i want to be skinny. i hope i start seeing some difference in the mirror soon. at least a glimmer of hope, a possibility of thin, to keep me going.
because right now my hope is drowning in fat, and i need bones to cling to.

ReplyDeleteOf course you'll notice and the weight you've lost probably already is noticeable. A study showed that most men don't even notice weight loss/gain until something like 15-20lbs so don't take your boyfriends lack of compliments/concern to heart. Just keep doing what you're doing because its working so well.
ReplyDeletethe problem with noticing weight loss is that we examine ourselves daily...so our only way of telling the difference is by measurements...maybe your bf doesent comment because he also sees you every day :)
ReplyDeleteIt's because he sees you every day. Go visit someone who hasn't seen you in a while! Or look at old photos. But yeah - As A.S. says - measurements are accurate.

take a picture hun! i did that at the beginning of my journey so i can take others at different stages and notice the difference to motivate me.

Oh, darling, you will see a difference. I lost 20 pounds and couldnt see a thing, but everyone else could. whatever. haha. the important thing is getting one step closer to your goal :D
